This calculator converts a battery or
battery packs Watt hours (Wh)
rating into its Amp Hours rating. The Amp hour rating can be useful to know when
purchasing new batteries that are rated on Amp hours.
For individual batteries enter the
Volts rating of the battery and the Watt hours rating of the battery and click
on the calculate button to get the Amp hours rating of that battery.
For battery packs that are wired in
series enter the combined Volts rating of all the batteries in the pack and
the Watt hours rating of one of the batteries in the pack. For example a series wired battery pack made from three 12 Volts 96 Watt hours batteries is
a 36 Volts 96 Watt hours
battery pack.
For battery packs that are wired in
parallel enter the Volts rating of one of the batteries in the pack and
the combined Watt hours rating of all the batteries in the pack . For example a parallel wired battery
pack made from three 12 Volts 96 Watt hours batteries is a 12 Volts 298 Watt hours
battery pack.
