Assembling your Pukka

Your Pukka Electric Minibike is partially assembled right out of the box. To finish assembling your Pukka you will need to do the following:

Mounting the front wheel assembly

The front wheel is located at the bottom of the box under a strip of cardboard. Near the front wheel is a brown box containing the foot pegs and front axle assembly. Remove these pieces from the box.

Remove one of the axle nuts, a safety washer, washer, and spacer from the axle.

Insert the axle into the center wheel hole and replace the spacer, washer, safety washer, and axle nut on the end of the axle.

With the axle inserted into the wheel you are ready to mount the wheel assembly onto the front forks. Position the front wheel assembly so that the tire treads point forward.

Slide the axle into the drop outs of the front fork so that the drop outs are positioned between the washer and safety washers.

Insert the safety washer into the hole in the front fork and tighten the axle nuts with a wrench until they are tight against the safety washers.

The finished assembly should look like the picture below.

Inserting the foot pegs

The two foot pegs are located in a brown box at the bottom of the Pukka box. Each foot peg has a compression button.

Press the button and insert the foot peg into the tube with the button facing downward until the button snaps into the hole in the tube. The foot peg cover will slide over the metal.

Inserting the seat

Insert the seat post into the seat post tube until you position the seat at the desired height.

Secure the seat in place with the seat clamp.

You may need to adjust the nut on the seat clamp to

Adjust the seat level to the desired position and tighten the nut on the seat.

Attaching the handlebar

The throttle and brake components are already assembled on the handlebar and on the frame. You need only attach the handlebar to the handlebar stem.

The handlebar stem is made up of two pieces held together by four bolts. Remove the four bolts and the top piece of the stem. Place the handlebar on the stem so that it is centered on the grooved area of the bar. Place the top piece of the stem over the handlebar and replace the four bolts.

Tighten all four of the bolts to make prevent the handlebar from moving during use.
