| Check the air pressure of the tires using a tire
gauge. All tires have their maximum rated pressure printed on their
sidewalls. Adjust the air pressure in the tires until it is within a
few pounds of or right at the maximum rated pressure of the tire but
not higher than it. Tires that are under inflated will create a
large amount of drag on the electric scooter due to the increased
rolling resistance of the tires. The amount of rolling resistance
that an under inflated tire creates is substantial and will decrease
the top speed and mileage range of an electric scooter dramatically. |
