Nest Step: Inspect Brake System for Rubbing
Determine if the brake pads or shoes are rubbing when
the brake lever is fully released. If the brakes are rubbing
loosen the brake cable adjuster just enough to correct the problem. If this adjustment makes the brakes
feel not responsive enough then you may have loosened the cable too
much or the scooter might have a worn out brake
cable. After adjusting the brakes test the scooter in a safe area
and then readjust them again if necessary.
