The Crystalyte Sparrow electric bicycle conversion kit uses an internally mounted brushed DC motor with a planetary gear reduction transmission system to power the wheel. The Sparrow is available for bikes with 16", 20", 24", and 26" wheels. There are several different throttle options available for the Sparrow including thumb throttles and twist throttles with and without battery power indicators. With the Sparrow conversion kit you can pedal without using the electric motor, pedal along with the electric motor, or use the electric motors power only. Sparrow electric bicycle conversion kits are available in both 36 Volt and 48 Volt versions and they are available in Complete kit versions and also in Power System kit versions. The Complete kit has everything needed to convert a standard bicycle into an electric bicycle and includes an electric hub motor wheel, speed controller, throttle, batteries, battery charger, wiring harness, bicycle rack, bicycle bags, and spoke wrench. The Power System kit has most of the parts needed to convert a bicycle to electric power and includes an electric hub motor wheel, speed controller, throttle, and spoke wrench.  The Crystalyte Sparrow Complete Electric Bicycle Conversion Kit includes the following parts and accessories:

Motor, Rim, & Spokes Available in 16", 20", 24" and 26" wheel sizes. Speed Controller The controller includes all necessary cables and connectors to connect the throttle, hub motor, and battery pack. Throttle Options       Choose between six different throttle options. The thumb throttle is best for bikes with twist shift systems, the half twist and full twist throttles allow the rider to twist the handlebar grip to adjust the motors speed. All of the throttles are available with or without LED power meters. Battery Charger Battery charger with automatic shutoff feature to safely recharge the battery pack. Battery Pack 3 high quality 12 Volt 10Ah lead-acid batteries. Cargo Rack Cargo Bag Battery Brackets Wire Harness Key Switch Charger Port Connectors Fuse Topeak cargo rack, Topeak cargo bag, battery brackets, and wiring harness assembly. Spoke Wrench For maintaining the spoke tension of the wheels. Optional Handlebar Mount Cruise Control (Additional $50.00) Optional handlebar mount cruise control unit with brake lever set. This cruise control unit with brake lever set has a brake inhibit feature which automatically interrupts power to the electric motor when the brakes are applied.

Crystalyte electric bicycle conversion kits are backed up by one of the best and longest warranties in the electric bicycle industry. We will replace any defective part of your Crystalyte power system for 180 days from date of purchase for the motor and 90 days from date of purchase for all other parts. If you require warranty service for your Crystalyte conversion kit contact ElectricScooterParts.com at 1-800-908-8082. Our customer service representatives will listen to the symptoms you are having and then ask you to ship the defective part to us. We will repair or replace your unit and then ship it back to you. Accidents and improper use of the conversion kit is not considered a manufacturing defect and are not covered under this warranty. Improper use of the conversion kit include; increasing the Voltage over the specification of the controller or motor, or running the motor without it being securely tightened to the frame. Failure from these types of improper usage are not the result of a manufacturing defect and are not covered by this warranty.
